RIPEC held its 81st Annual Meeting on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

The Annual Meeting featured election insights from Nathan Gonzales, Editor and Publisher of Inside Elections, and Ted Nesi, Politics Editor and Investigative Reporter for WPRI12. It also celebrated the recipients of the 48th Annual Distinguished Public Service Awards, Donna M. Murray, Labor Market Information Division Director for the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training, and Randy R. Rossi, the former Town Manager of Smithfield. Remarks were provided by Speaker of the House Joseph Shekarchi and Senate Majority Whip Valarie Lawson, as well as Keith Kelly, Chair of RIPEC’s Board of Directors and President of Citizens Bank Rhode Island, and Michael DiBiase, RIPEC’s President and CEO.
