RIPEC will hold its 83rd Annual Meeting on Monday, October 19, bringing together leaders from across Rhode Island’s business, government, and civic communities for an evening of conversation, connection, and a look at RIPEC’s work over the past year.
The Value of Knowing
Research that drives better government.
Good policy starts with good information. RIPEC provides independent research and analysis that helps Rhode Islanders better understand the issues affecting the state, how public dollars are invested, and the impact of decisions being made on their behalf.
That work gives policymakers and community and business leaders credible information to help guide decisions, while giving the public greater insight into the policies and investments shaping Rhode Island.
The value of RIPEC is not simply in knowing the facts. It’s in what Rhode Island can do with them.
What’s Ahead in American Politics?
The evening will feature Jonathan Martin, Politics Bureau Chief and Senior Political Columnist at POLITICO, in conversation with Edward Fitzpatrick of The Boston Globe Rhode Island on the political landscape heading into the upcoming midterm elections.
The Annual Meeting is an opportunity to connect with leaders from across the state, hear more about RIPEC’s work, and support the independent research and analysis that helps inform Rhode Island’s future.
